I'm New

Mountain Christian Center is a  church made up of many different people. We’re not all perfect, but we’ve found hope in having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our consuming passion is to glorify God and when we gather together in Jesus name we believe His promise to be with us. Everyone is welcome at MCC as we journey together in following Jesus.

What To Expect on Sundays

We know that attending a church service for the first time can be a super scary thing. Being unsure of what to wear, what the culture is, or even when to stand up and sit down can be a weirdly paralyzing thought! Allow us to put your mind at ease. At our Sunday Celebration Service, you can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. You will be encouraged and challenged. If you are going to be a first-time guest with us, look below to find answers to some commonly asked questions.

What is your service like?
Our service typically lasts about 90 minutes. We have praise and worship music led by our worship team and a Biblical message taught by one of our pastors. You can find out about our current message series here. We also have our Higher Grounds Café that is open before all of our services! You can come early, grab a coffee, and spend some time connecting with others. Fun fact: all of our new guests get a free item from the café!

What is available for my kids?
We provide child care for ages 0-5, as well as Kid's Church for K-5th Grade. We have wonderful volunteers who take care of your kids and create a fun and interactive environment intended to fill children with the wonder of knowing God, loving Him, and serving others.

How should I dress?
Mountain Christian Center is a “come as you are” church. We want you to feel comfortable and to be more focused on who you’re worshiping than what you’re wearing. Here at MCC, you will find everything from dress clothes to blue jeans. We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

Will I be asked to give?
If you are a guest, please do not feel any obligation to give. We believe giving is an act of worship wherein those who have a personal relationship with God through Christ, give regularly and generously in response to God's gracious gifts. To sum it up, if you want to give then give! If you don't, then that's okay too.

What To Expect on Wednesdays

When we gather together on Wednesdays we call it Family Night. Why? Because it's a time where everyone in the family, no matter the age, can come to church and be involved in a small group. We really do have something for everyone in the family! Check out the list below to see all the small groups we  have to offer on Family Night.

Rainbows Preschool Club: A club for preschoolers.

We also have our Snack Shack that opens at 5:30 PM.

Don't worry. We also have nachos, Frito boats, hot dogs, chili dogs, salads, candy and more. First time coming to Family Night? Dinner is on us!
